Napoleon Bonaparte was born the 15th of August, 1769 on Corsica, just three months after the island had been defeated by the French. He would spend his childhood as a loner hating France, the nation he would one day rule. He dreamt all the time of liberating Corsica.
"I was born when [Corsica] was perishing. Thirty thousand Frenchmen spewed on to our shores, drowning the throne of liberty in waves of blood... The cries of the dying, the groans of the oppressed and tears of despair surrounded my cradle from the hour of my birth."
"On Corsica I was given life, and with that life I was also given a fierce love for this my ill-starred homeland and fierce desire for her independance. ."
"Always alone among men, I come home to dream by myself and to give myself over to all the forces of my melancholy," Napoleon wrote. "My thoughts dwell on death... What fury drives me to wish for my own destruction? No doubt because I see no place for myself in this world."
Napolean’s natal Sun at (22Le46 , +13d57) was conjunct the stars Subra (21Le02); Adhafera (24le20); Al Jabbah (24le41) and Alfard (24le04) and sharply parallel to the stars of Pegasus, Algenib(+13d54) and Markab (+13d58).
His radix Sun forms a T-square with Jupiter (15Sc) and Uranus (11ta31) conjunct Almach..the snagged foot of the chained princess Andromeda. And perhaps more significantly a square to the TNP Apollon (27Ta26) conjunct Atiks and Mirfak, the stars of Perseus, the hero who rescues Andromeda.
His natal Moon (28Cp56) is opposite Saturn (25Cn54). This is a combination connected with discipline and loneliness in early life. (Ref below). It is conjunct the star Altair (28cp32).
Adhafera and Al Jabbah
The head of the Lion is composed of several stars and actually extends from Algenubi, the Eye of the Lion and Rasalas, which marks the forehead of the Lion, which lie in late sidereal Cancer, to Adhafera, the mane, and Algeibia, which conjoins Regulus, the Heart or essence of the Leo. Adhafera, the Lion's main, and Al Jabhah, Eta Leo, conjoin the themes of Alphard, Suhail Al Muhlif, and the Pup-A Supernova Remnant. Here we might think more in terms of the brain or mind of the Lion, the Lion's persona and how the Lion thinks--perhaps with a sense of aloneness yet with confident audacity.
The stars forming the Head of the Lion are of the trail-blazers, those willing to leave the comfort of mass-consensus, who are self-confident and self-reliant to step forth into unexplored territory; the ones who look for and can envision new horizons, those who discover new possibilities waiting to be realized.” Nick Fiorenza
Algenib and Markab
Algenib, Gamma Pegasus, is the tip of the horse's wing, a very fortunate star. It is one of the four stars of The Great Square of Pegasus, along with Markab, Scheat, and Alpheratz. These stars give the capacity to rise high in life above any difficulty and free oneself and those connected from bondage and servitude.
Moon conjunct Altair (alpha Aquila, the eagle)
The Eagle, soars to the heights, the bird of mighty Jupiter carrying thunderbolts, it is a bird worthy of Jupiter and the sky, which it furnishes with awful armaments. This bird brings back the thunderbolts which Jupiter has flung and fights in the service of heaven. He that is born on earth in the hour of its rising, will grow up bent on spoil and plunder, won even with bloodshed; he will draw no line between peace and war, between citizen and foe, and when he is short of men to kill he will engage in butchery of beast. He is a law unto himself, and rushes violently wherever his fancy takes him; in his eyes to show contempt for everything merits praise. Yet, should perchance his aggressiveness be enlisted in a righteous cause, depravity will turn into virtue, and he will succeed in bringing wars to a conclusion and enriching his country with glorious triumphs. And, since the Eagle does not wield, but supplies weapons, seeing that it brings back and restores to Jupiter the fires and bolts he has hurled, in time of war such a man will be the aide of a king or of some mighty general, and his strength will render them important service". [Astronomica, Manilius, 1st century AD, book 5, p.341.]
Moon opposite Saturn
His mother, Letizia, was a hard, austere woman, toughened by war, who punished her children to teach them sacrifice and discipline.
"She sometimes made me go to bed without supper, as if there were nothing to eat in the house. One had to learn to suffer and not let others see it."

*** END REPORT ***
Napoleon was Emperor of France from 1804 to 1815. The table above shows Sun solar arc progression for the period. His progressed Sun is in the midst of the stars Alkaid and Zavijava amongst others. Alkaid has been associated with a supreme leader and Zavijava with his followers. The Arab astrologers called Alkaid, “the destroyer of nations”
His coming to power in 1804 is accompanied by his Sun in aspect to Saturn-Moon. Saturn is conjunct Procyon and Moon with Altair.
In classical astrology, Altair is of military force and power. Siderealist Andrés Takra adds: "Altair has been associated with kings, emperors, conquerors, tyrants, politicians….”
Procyon is a very fortunate star; known to the Mesopotamians as 'The Star of the Crossing of the Water - Dog', as it lies near their River of Heaven, the Milky Way. Procyon foretold wealth and renown, and in all astrology has been much regarded…Rise and success are found with it, but fall from high position later, is indicated. [Fixed Stars and Their Interpretation, Elsbeth Ebertin, 1928, p.43.]
Napolean’s natal Moon (-17d25) is parallel in declination to Deneb Algedi (-17d09)
His legal reforms, the Napoleonic Code, has been a major influence on many civil law jurisdictions worldwide.
Deneb Algedi is delta Capricornus.
“The teachings of Ea-Oannes, epitomized by Capricornus, make his stars an area of emergence and enlightenment, where laws are established, maintained and renewed; where challenges, struggles and experimentation bring about new systems of social contracts and new legal pathways for the just implementation of power.” Diana Rosenberg
In 1812 transit Uranus at 22Scorpio began squaring his Sun (22Leo). With a natal T-square of Sun-Jupiter-Uranus ..and Uranus opposite Jupiter there was a great danger of expansionist ideas along with a possibility of losing allies and friends (Sun-Uranus square). The French invasion of Russia (**) of 1812 (24 June – 14 December 1812) was a turning point in the Napoleonic Wars. It reduced the French and allied invasion forces (the Grande Armée) to a tiny fraction of their initial strength and triggered a major shift in European politics as it dramatically weakened French hegemony in Europe. The reputation of Napoleon as an undefeated military genius was severely shaken, while the French Empire's former allies, at first Prussia and then the Austrian Empire, broke their alliance with France and switched camps, which triggered the War of the Sixth Coalition.
**Napoleon’s solar return chart for 1812 at Moscow has “Apollon-Pluto-Neptune-Zeus-Admetus-Jupiter” aspecting the angles. Military projects (Zeus) meet delays or the winter cold (Admetus). Obsessive desire (Pluto) to expand (Apollon) results in overextension (Jupiter) and ends in disappointment and failure(Neptune).
Defeat
In March,1815, Great Britain, Russia, Austria and Prussia bound themselves to each put 150,000 men into the field to end his rule. Napoleon's forces fought the allies, led by Wellington and Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher, at the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815 where Napoleon was defeated.
From the table above note that in 1815 Napoleon’s progressed Sun is square Venus (7Can03) which is conjunct the star Alhena ( 6Can). Alhena is a star in the constellation of the Twins (Castor and Pollux). Is it a coincidence that it took an alliance of German and English forces to defeat Napolean?
Influences of the 4th Arabic Moon Mansion Al Hanah: Favorable for hunting, besieging towns, and the revenge of princes. [Robson*, p.71].
It is said to cause trouble and disgrace, sickness, loss of fortune, affliction [Robson*, p.46.]
Al Hena is a brilliant white star located in the left foot of Castor. The name has been translated by various authors as a reference to a wound or affliction, with Vivian Robson relating it to "the wound in the tendon of Achilles".
Death
It has long been suspected that Napolean’s death was because of poisoning. Astrology does point towards that possibility.
Sun 143 conjunct Alphard (alpha Hydra)
Of a Saturn nature, however, there is a measure of influence of Venus and Neptune. This combination is of a disadvantage in most cases. Particularly matters connected with 'poison' are accentuated badly, e.g. blood poisoning, murder by poison, attempts of poisoning. [Fixed Stars and Their Interpretation, Elsbeth Ebertin, 1928, p.50, under the name Alphard.]
